Are we sure Galaxy Age has any effect on the types of planets that spawn, or even the type of stars? It all seems so random to me.

I've heard that Young Galaxies have more organic rich planets (Better biomes like terran and ocean), but less mineral-rich planets.

Average Age is supposed to be, well, average.

Old Galaxies supposedly have worse biomes for anyone but Silicoid (more barren and volcanic, etc), but more mineral rich planets.

Can anyone confirm this please?
